Mr. Kaminski brings 25 years of manufacturing experience in a variety of industries and capacities including Maintenance & Facility Management, Safety, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Innovation. Mike originally joined MAGNET in 2006 as a senior business consultant focused on product development and business consulting services. He regularly consults with manufacturing companies on business growth opportunities focused on New Product Innovation and facilitates Idea Engineering Workshops. In 2008, Mike took the lead in developing and managing MAGNET’s sustainable manufacturing program (“ecoSMART”) designed to assist manufacturing companies with the development and implementation of their sustainability initiatives including energy management.
Most of his on the job experience comes from the following notable companies, Cincinnati Milacron, HPM, GI Plastek, Automated Assemblies, Newell Rubbermaid and Little Tikes. Mike started and managed a contract manufacturing business within Little Tikes titled HF Manufacturing.
Mike holds a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from Franklin University, a Certificate in Sustainable Value from Case Western Reserve University-Weatherhead School of Management and is a certified trainer of Purdue University’s Green Enterprise Development Program. Mike often lectures on the topics of Sustainable Manufacturing and Product Innovation at local Universities and Events. He also is a member of the Baldwin Wallace Advisory Board for the Institute for Sustainable Business Practices and is a member of the Sustainable Cleveland 2019 Planning Committee for Design, Materials, and Manufacturing.
